MERRY JANE's exclusive look at a comedy about career options.
Published on September 13, 2016

A college grad gets more than he bargained for when after losing his nerdy (but sturdy) job in consulting, he takes up a new role as a weed dealer.

Director Rory Rooney's encapsulates the drama that occurs when we plunge into drug dealing to make ends meet. Baked in Brooklyn stars Josh Brener (The Big Bang Theory, Workaholics) as David and Alexandra Daddario (American Horror Story, Baywatch, San Andreas, The Last Man on Earth) as Kate, the apple of David's eye.

David's bookish savant demeanor is redeemed by his willingness to dive into the outlaw world of illegal marijuana sales. His new gig as a weed dealer in the streets of Manhattan quickly expands and his new career becomes increasingly confusing and dangerous as his client base swells.

Red Crown Productions' film will be released by WellGo Entertainment

The film features supporting roles from Tovah Feldshuh (Lady in the Water, Brewster's Millions), Lindsay Broad (The Office) and Al Sapienza (The Sopranos). Rory Rooney's (The Magic) full-length feature film Baked in Brooklyn is everything you'd expect in a marijuana-tinged comedy.

Grab some popcorn- this comedy is tailor-made for marijuana enthusiasts. Baked in Brooklyn will be a fitting addition to your stoner comedy repertoire.

The film is currently in post production. Check back here at MERRY JANE on Oct 4th for the exclusive premiere of the Baked in Brooklyn trailer.
