It has been announced that actor, writer, and producer extraordinaire James Franco has teamed up with film financier, producer and Aristocracy Group founder Demian Gregory have joined forces on a slate of four films.

The first of these films will be an adaptation of Neil Strauss’s New York Times bestseller The Game, which is part memoir and part guide on how to become a pickup artist. It penetrates the secret society of pickup artists, and their competition (even amongst themselves) to find love. Franco will also have a starring role in the film, playing Strauss’s wingman, “Mystery.”

The Game will begin production in 2017, and has yet to find a director and full cast. The other three films Gregory and Franco will be working on together have yet to be announced.

Gregory has also acquired the rights to the top selling novel in Italian history, The Leopard by Giuseppe Tomasi de Lampedusa. It has already been adapted once as a film by Italian neorealist director Luchino Visconti in 1963, for which it won the prestigious Palme D’Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

We are looking forward to The Game, as well as ther other three films in the pipeline!
