It’s time to Netflix and chill now that Marvel’s Luke Cage will be premiering in the next few weeks. The online streaming network made the announcement Tuesday, accompanied with a new trailer.

Built with super strength and unbreakable skin after an experiment gone wrong, Luke Cage decides to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City where he becomes a fugitive. As he blazes on his new journey he is suddenly pulled out of the shadows and must fight for the city he loves, but not without confronting the wary past he tried so hard to leave behind.

Played by Mike Colter, Marvel’s Luke Cage is the third installment in the Defenders series (Marvel’s Daredevil and Marvel’s Jessica Jones are the first two) to launch on Netflix. The fourth installment, Marvel’s Iron Fist, is scheduled to be released in 2017 followed by Marvel’s The Defenders, which will ultimately unite all four heroes in the biggest fight of their lives.

If you haven’t caught up yet it’s probably best to smoke up and watch Marvel’s Daredevil and Marvel’s Jessica Jones, which are both currently available on Netflix. Once you’ve finished those spectacular shows Marvel’s Luke Cage will be right around the corner premiering on September 30, 2016 at 12:01am PT on Netflix.
