Back in the early 2000s, Supreme released one of its most iconic box logo tees, featuring a riff on the iconic Louis Vuitton monogram. Needless to say, this came at a time when high fashion raised their noses at streetwear, so Louis Vuitton wasn’t too happy about it.
That’s all in the past, however, as Supreme might now be officially collaborating with the legendary fashion house soon. Someone at the LV showroom decided to snap a pic of what appears to be a collaborative Supreme and Louis Vuitton sweater, and since the image hit the Internet, fashionistas and streetwear addicts alike have been losing their shit.
The simple white sweater features the aforementioned LV monogram, as well as Supreme’s iconic box logo interspersed throughout. To further add fuel to the rumors, LV’s creative director Kim Jones posted a photo of a Supreme sticker over a Louis item.
If the speculation rings true, this will be one of the mot important collaborations in streetwear history. And knowing Supreme, it will be one of the most hyped of all time.
