Have you ever wondered what your life would be like as a “ganjapreneur” in Southern California? Or perhaps dreamt about having your own Los Angeles-based delivery service? Well, MTV and MERRY JANE are collaborating to showcase California’s budding cannabis scene in a humorous light with Mary + Jane”, a single camera, half-hour comedy that follows two best friends as they build the dankest delivery service in all of L.A.

The show will center around, as you might have guessed from the show’s title, Mary and Jane, showcasing their hysterical journey as the owners of an all-female weed delivery service. Mary + Jane will be premiering this Monday, September 5, at 10:00 EST, but we’re here to give you a taste of what to expect from MTV’s latest comedy.

Our sneak peek features the two friends as they’re confronted by Robbie, a pompous, hoverboard riding character who runs a competing delivery service in the area. As he brags to them about making it onto the “Green 15” list, and gaining an endorsement from the comic actor Seth Rogen, Mary and Jane become determined to get their business onto the prestigious list as well, setting the stage for what is guaranteed to be a hilarious season premiere.

The show is poised to be a landmark for the cannabis industry, as it marks the first time that a cannabis-based media company (MERRY JANE) has partnered with a major television cable network (MTV). In addition, the one and only Snoop Dogg is both an executive producer and the musical genius behind the show’s catchy theme song.

Mary + Jane is written, directed, and executively produced by Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont, known for their movies like Can’t Hardly Wait and Made of Honor. Additionally, Guymon Casady (Game of Thrones), Marcus Blakely, Jill McElroy, and fellow MERRY JANE co-founder Ted Chung are also executive producers on the show.

Tune in at 10 PM ET on Labor Day, Monday, September 5 to venture alongside the lovely duo Mary and Jane as they aim to become the best cannabis delivery service in all of Los Angeles.

Whether they make it to the top of the marijuana food chain or not remains to be seen, but you can certainly expect a ton of hilarity to ensue from their mischievous antics and unpredictable journey through Southern California’s cannabis industry.

Plus the show has been co-signed by Tommy Chong.
