After a successful pilot program, the A.C.T. Now program will soon offer treatment for Californians with serious illnesses. Learn what it all means.

Harborside Health Center, the multi-state cannabis super-brand with claim to the largest dispensary in California, has cemented a partnership with United Cannabis Corporation to bring revolutionary and effective new cannabis therapies to thousands of patients in California.

United Cannabis Corporation announced a partnership last month with Harborside Health Center who will become the exclusive distributors of United’s proprietary A.C.T. Now full-spectrum cannabinoid system.

Thousands of seriously ill people, and their families, are searching for potent and effective medical cannabis on any given day. In California alone there are tens of thousands of different strains and products available for sale, all containing different formulas and cannabinoid ratios, with still scant science to back up their claims.

That’s why—amidst confusion in the realm of CBD and THC therapies—it’s reassuring to see two trusted cannabis companies joining together to provide tailored, full-spectrum therapies to people who need it most.

The new partnership with UCANN started out by establishing the Advanced Cannabinoid Therapy program at Harborside, or “A.C.T. Now” for short, which offers a new, full-spectrum cannabis treatment for PTSD, arthritis, autism, and many other conditions. The program, also offered at Fox Street Wellness in Colorado, focuses on prescribing ideal dosage ratios for each condition, as well as each individual patient, to ensure effective treatment and a dramatic improvement in quality of life.

The A.C.T. Now Program is a robust, holistic program offering a customized combination of fully plant-derived Prana Bio Medicinals products, which can be mixed and matched in order to achieve the ideal cannabinoid ratio for each patient. In addition to medication, patients also receive valuable nutritional guidelines, nursing support, patient education, on-site visitation and electronic medical chart management. Together, these products and services have had a profound effect on patients at Harborside who have been diagnosed with severe illnesses.

After gaining enthusiastic patient support during a pilot program at Harborside’s flagship Oakland dispensary, the Prana Bio Nutrient Medicinals and Bubbleman product lines by United Cannabis will soon be produced and distributed statewide so that even more patients can access the benefits of cannabinoid therapies.

What does all of this mean? Essentially, that it is much easier for patients managing cancer, autism, seizures, dependency, PTSD, arthritis and other special needs to get their medicine in the correct doses in the state of California.

"United Cannabis's Prana and Bubbleman products facilitate our ability to provide patients with the highest quality of personalized medicine and are a natural extension of the products and services we offer at Harborside,” says Steve DeAngelo, founder of Harborside Health Center. “I am pleased with the growth of our relationship, and look forward to working with United Cannabis to bring the benefits of cannabis-based medicine to patients throughout California."

The list of traditional pharmaceutical drugs this treatment could potentially replace is overwhelming. Juvenile autism patients are frequently prescribed strong antidepressants meant for adults, as there are no drugs that actually treat autism. Cannabis therapies provide the calming effect these patients and families are looking for, without the side effects that usually come with pharmaceuticals. PTSD is another illness not well-treated with pharmaceuticals, but full-spectrum cannabinoid therapies can provide a safe antidepressant and neuroprotective solution.

Be on the lookout for these new products, and the comprehensive program, if you or a loved one suffers from a serious chronic illness.
