Since wrapping up his two-year prison stint back in May, Gucci Mane has been keeping his loyal fanbase well fed with a constant onslaught of new projects. After a wildly successful 2016, the Atlanta rapper is looking to continue his rampage into the new year.

On Wednesday, Gucci released a surprise EP entitled 3 For Free, a three-track effort with the producer Shawty Red. Throughout the brief 10-minute project, Guwop goes mental over sporadic trap drums and ominous bell tolls, reassuring the world that his post-prison revival has yet to reach its peak. As you can probably surmise, the joint effort is definitely not lacking in bars about stacking paper and stunting in expensive designer clothes.

“Gucci how you feel, like the richest nigga ever/Twenty-seventeen, still the slickest nigga ever/Ain't nobody in my lane, ain't nobody on my level,” Gucci spits in the opening track “Ever”.

The unexpected release came just one day after Gucci Mane announced his forthcoming album DropTopWizop, which is yet to be given a release date. It’s unclear whether 3 For Free is comprised of throwaway tracks from the upcoming record or not, but the latest offering is lined with bangers nonetheless.

Last year Gucci dropped three album, stating with Everybody Looking, and the seasonally themed projects WOPTOBER and The Return of East Atlanta Santa came after.

Now, with the new surprise EP and upcoming album DropTopWizop on its way, 2017 is shaping up to be just as bountiful a year for the indestructible rap star.

So if you're looking for boastful rhymes that paint a gritty and luxurious picture, sit back and burn one down to 3 For Free
