Gucci Mane has been released from prison and dropped a track with Mike Will Made-It.
Published on May 27, 2016

After being locked up in prison for about two years, Atlanta rap visionary Gucci Mane has been released from prison. This is very much a surprise to many because his scheduled release date was set for September 2016. The news came via photos from his longtime girlfriend Keyshia Ka’oir, who also made posts on Snapchat that included the two.

Gucci’s path to success came in the form of constantly releasing material on 2Pac levels, which gained him much notoriety in the rap scene. However, his rise to fame did not come without trouble as the rapper would end up pleading guilty to firearm possession in 2014. He would end up being sentenced to 39 months in prison.

There is no word on what Gucci’s next move is, but listen to the new Mike Will Made-It-produced track “First Day Out Tha Feds” to hold you over until then.
