Your first offense after being caught with less than 1 ounce of weed is a misdemeanor and you are looking at 30 days in lock up with a $500 fine.
After that your time behind bars can be up to 1 year with a $2,500 fine.
Possessing hash and concentrates will earn you a felony with up to $2,500 in fines.
Don’t even think about selling extracts and concentrates. The Virginia judicial system will rain down fire and brimstone with 5 to 40 years of incarceration and up to a half million bucks in fines.
