Young Dro should get way more credit for his efforts and influence, especially with the newer generation of rappers. Instead of complaining though, the Atlanta native released a joint project with producer Zaytoven titled Boot Up.

Dro and Zaytoven previously came together for another joint project in 2015 called Hell Cat, and this nine-track arrangement continues on what the two Atlanta artists built. Tracks like “Real Life” and “Boot Up” are two sides to Dro’s personality on records, but capture his knack for creating repetitive melodies that are hella memorable. It definitely helps that Zaytoven provides Dro with production that is reminiscent of his work with OJ Da Juiceman. Listen below.
