Steven K. Bannon, a senior White House adviser and one of the most powerful figures in Washington, is registered to vote in two different states, the very same act of electoral fraud Trump accused millions of voters of committing Wednesday. An official with the Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections told NBC News that Bannon was registered to vote in both Florida and New York. Sarasota County was informed of the incident from the New York City Board of Elections.

Bannon recently left Breitbart News, the “platform of the alt-right,” to focus on the Trump Campaign. As early as last November, Bannon held an active voter registration at a vacant property in Miami-Dade County, Florida, a key swing state. His registration was moved to another location belonging to Andy Badolato, a close colleague of his who has written and worked on documentary films for Breitbart. Interestingly, Badolato is also registered to vote from the household where his two adult sons live, according to the Guardian. Bannon sent a letter to the Florida elections officials one day before Election Day, requesting to have his listing removed from the record because he had suddenly moved to New York. Bannon, however, cast his ballot in favor of Trump using a registration using the address of his apartment in Manhattan. It is not clear whether Bannon lived at the Florida property, but per the registration rules of the Florida division of elections, a voter is required to live at the property they are registered at. Bannon, however, did not cast a vote from Florida. Trump has repeatedly accused 3-5 million voters of committing voter fraud with no evidence to the press or via Twitter, his normal outlet.

62-year-old Bannon first stirred up controversy when he was accused of being a misogynist and racist, and Trump channeled Steve Bannon during the inauguration as a co-author of the inaugural addressBreitbart News routinely publishes shock titles such as “Science Proves It: Fat-Shaming Works” or “Birth Control Makes Women Unattractive and Crazy”.

As it currently stands, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by over 2.8 million votes. No evidence has been supplied to verify millions of cases of voter fraud. Trump cabinet nominee Steven Mnuchin and Tiffany Trump are also reportedly registered to vote from two states.
