Denver-based marijuana company, Dixie Elixirs, announced at the 4th annual Marijuana Business Conference in Las Vegas that they will be expanding internationally. That’s right, they are the first ever marijuana-based company to ever go global. Dixie products will soon be in Australia and New Zealand by way of partnership with Australian-based Cann Group.  The two companies recently signed two licensing deals. The first will be a launch of a Dixie branded, but formulated by Cann Group, line of topicals and cosmetics. This line will be CBD based, meanig there will be no psychoactive effects when using these products. The second agreement will be responsible for bringing Dixie Elixirs’ line of THC products. That line includes Dixie’s THC-infused edibles, topicals and tinctures if and when Australia and New Zealand decide to start their medical marijuana programs.

This is very exciting news as a part of the American cannabis culture will now be represented in Australia and New Zealand. Not only is this partnership good for Cann Group, but it is also beneficial for Dixie Elixirs because there is a lot to be learned about cannabis cultures in other countries.
